4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your heated mattress pad:

1. Prepare the Bed: Ensure your mattress is clean and dry.
2. Position the Pad: Lay the heated mattress pad flat on top of your mattress, ensuring it is centered and smooth. The fitted skirt should wrap around the sides and corners of the mattress. This pad is designed to fit deep mattresses up to 15 inches.

3. Connect Controllers: Locate the hidden connectors beneath the mattress pad at the foot end. Plug each controller cord firmly into its respective connector on the mattress pad. Ensure a secure connection.

4. Route Cords: Route the controller cords to your bedside tables or desired location. The 13-foot controller cord provides ample length for flexible placement.
5. Plug into Power: Plug the power cords from each controller into separate 120V AC wall outlets. Avoid using extension cords if possible.
6. Cover with Sheet: Place your fitted sheet over the heated mattress pad.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Turn On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button on each controller to turn the respective side of the mattress pad on or off. The button is lighted for easy visibility in the dark.
2. Adjust Heat Settings: Use the + and - buttons to cycle through the 10 heat settings. The current heat level will be displayed on the digital screen. Heat levels range from 87°F (lowest) to 115°F (highest).

3. Set Timer: Press the TIMER/HEAT button to adjust the auto shut-off timer. You can set the timer from 1 to 12 hours. The pad will automatically turn off after the selected time has elapsed.
4. Pre-heating: For optimal warmth, it is recommended to turn on the mattress pad 15-30 minutes before getting into bed.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life of your Reaks heated mattress pad. Always disconnect the power cords from the wall outlets and the controllers from the pad before cleaning.

• Washing: The mattress pad is machine washable. Wash in warm water on a gentle cycle.
• Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. Ensure the pad is completely dry before reconnecting to power. Do not iron.
• Do Not Dry Clean: Dry cleaning solvents can damage the internal wiring.
• Storage: When not in use, store the mattress pad in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding tightly or placing heavy objects on it, which could damage the heating elements.
