4. Setup

4.1 Initial Power-Up

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the back of the control unit.

4.2 SIM Card Installation (for 4G functionality)

  2. Install and open the app, then register a new account or log in.

4.4 Adding Sensors and Accessories

Many sensors in the kit are pre-configured. If you need to add new sensors or accessories:

  1. Access the 'Accessories' or 'Sensor Management' menu on the control unit or via the app.
  2. Select 'Add Sensor' or 'Pair Device'.
  3. Trigger the sensor (e.g., open a door/window sensor, wave in front of a PIR detector) to send a signal to the host.

5.2 Zone Types

The system supports different zone attributes to suit various security needs:

  • 24-Hour Zone: Always active, even when the system is disarmed (e.g., smoke detectors, gas leak detectors).
  • Ordinary Zone: Active when the system is armed (e.g., door/window sensors, PIR motion detectors).
  • Home Defense Zone: Active when the system is armed in 'Home' mode, allowing free movement in certain areas while securing others (e.g., perimeter sensors).
  • Delay Defense Zone: Provides an entry/exit delay before triggering an alarm, allowing time to arm/disarm the system.

You can schedule specific times for the system to automatically arm or disarm:

  • SMS Messages: Text messages sent to up to 6 pre-set numbers.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliability of your alarm system:

  • Power Supply: Ensure the control unit is always connected to a stable power source.
  • Backup Battery: The built-in backup battery provides power during outages. Periodically check its status via the app or control unit. The system will notify you of low battery.
  • Sensor Batteries: Replace batteries in wireless sensors as indicated by low battery warnings on the control unit or app.
  • Cleaning: Gently clean the control unit and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Firmware Updates: Check for and install any available firmware updates via the app to ensure optimal performance and security.
