5.1 Basic Toasting

1. Insert up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots.
2. Use the SHADE +/- buttons to select your desired browning level from 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest). The selected level will be shown on the digital display.
3. Press the control lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin, and the digital display will show a countdown timer.
4. Once the cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.

5.2 Using Specific Bread Programs

The toaster features 7 pre-set programs for optimized toasting of different bread types.

1. Insert bread into the slots.
2. Press the BREAD TYPE button repeatedly to cycle through the available programs: Whole Wheat, White Bread, Bagel, Sweet Bread, Waffles, English Muffins, Gluten-Free. The selected program will be indicated on the digital display.
3. Adjust the browning level using the SHADE +/- buttons if desired.

5.3 REHEAT Function

To reheat cold toast without further browning:

5.4 DEFROST Function

To defrost and toast frozen bread:

1. Insert frozen bread into the slots.

4. Press the DEFROST button. The defrost indicator will illuminate, and the cycle will begin, automatically adjusting the toasting time for frozen bread.

5.5 STOP/CANCEL Function

To stop any toasting cycle at any time, press the STOP button. The bread will immediately pop up.

5.6 Hi-Lift Function

After the toasting cycle is complete and the bread has popped up, you can manually lift the control lever further upwards to raise smaller items (like English muffins or bagels) for easier removal.

5.7 Memory Function

The toaster allows you to save and recall up to 4 preferred toasting settings (bread type and browning level).

1. Set your desired bread type and browning level.
2. Press and hold the MEMORY button until the memory slot indicator (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the display flashes.
