Introduction

The OLIGHT Baldr S is a compact and powerful rail-mounted weaponlight designed for tactical use. It features an 800-lumen white LED and a precise green beam, offering versatile illumination and aiming capabilities. With its magnetic USB charging and robust aluminum construction, the Baldr S provides reliable performance for various applications.

Setup and Installation

The Baldr S is designed for easy and secure mounting on most GL or Picatinny rails. The GL rail adapter is pre-installed, and a Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) adapter is included for compatibility.

Rail Compatibility

Ensure your firearm has a compatible rail system. The Baldr S fits rail spaces (from slot to guard) within 1.003 to 1.830 inches.

Changing Rail Adapter (if needed)

If your firearm uses a Picatinny rail and the GL adapter is installed, follow these steps to switch to the 1913 adapter:

1. Locate the rail adapter screws on the bottom of the Baldr S.
2. Use the included Allen wrench to loosen and remove the screws holding the current adapter.
3. Replace the adapter with the appropriate 1913 (Picatinny) rail adapter.
4. Securely fasten the new adapter with the provided screws.

Mounting the Weaponlight

1. Pull open the swing arm of the rail mount.
2. Slide the Baldr S onto your firearm's rail to your desired position.
3. Use the included Allen wrench to ensure the two socket screws are tight. Two backup socket screws are included in the package.

Operating Instructions

Power and Precision

The Baldr S delivers up to 800 lumens of white light and a precise green laser beam. It also features a 100-lumen low mode for indoor use.

Mode Selection

The Baldr S features a mode setting switch to select between white light only, green beam only, or both combined. Dual ambidextrous switches allow for smooth momentary-on or constant-on activation.

Green Beam Calibration

To ensure accurate aiming, the green beam can be calibrated horizontally and vertically. Use the included hex wrench to rotate the adjustment screws on the side of the light.

Charging and Battery

The Baldr S features a built-in 3.7V 380mAh lithium polymer battery and supports simple magnetic charging. The charging cable snaps on instantly.

A full charge takes approximately 80 minutes, providing a maximum runtime of 140 minutes when the light is set to 100 lumens.

When battery power is below 10%, a red indicator light will illuminate.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your OLIGHT Baldr S, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior of the weaponlight with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Lens Care: Keep the lens clean and free of smudges. Use a lens cleaning cloth or a cotton swab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol if necessary.
• Rail Mount: Periodically check the rail mount and screws for tightness. Re-tighten if any looseness is detected to maintain a secure fit.
• Charging Port: Ensure the magnetic charging port is clean and free of metallic particles or debris to ensure proper charging contact.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the Baldr S in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
