Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off the Ignite System
Press and hold the power button on the battery pack for 3 seconds to turn the Ignite system on or off. An indicator light will confirm the status.
2. Ignite System Modes
- Auto Mode: The system automatically detects fogging and activates the heating element and fan as needed. This is the default mode upon powering on.
- Manual Mode: Press the power button briefly to cycle through heating and fan settings manually. This allows for continuous operation or specific adjustments based on conditions.
3. Fan Operation
The integrated fan works in conjunction with the heated lens to circulate air and remove moisture, further preventing fogging. The fan speed may vary depending on the selected mode or environmental conditions.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Lens
- Use only a soft, non-abrasive cloth (e.g., microfiber) to clean the outer lens surface.
- For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Avoid wiping the inner lens surface, as it has an anti-fog coating that can be damaged. If necessary, gently dab with a soft cloth.
2. Cleaning the Frame and Foam
Wipe the goggle frame with a damp cloth. The foam can be gently cleaned with mild soap and water, then allowed to air dry completely before storage.
3. Battery Care and Storage
- Store the goggle and battery pack in a cool, dry place.
- For long-term storage, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50% to prolong its lifespan.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme heat or cold.
Troubleshooting
- Goggle is fogging:
- Ensure the Ignite system is powered on and operating in Auto or Manual mode.
- Check battery charge level. A low battery may reduce heating and fan performance.
- Verify that the goggle foam is properly sealed against your face to prevent air gaps.
- Battery not charging or short battery life:
- Confirm the charging cable is securely connected to both the battery pack and the power source.
- Try a different USB power adapter or cable to rule out a faulty accessory.
- Ensure the battery pack is not exposed to extreme cold, which can temporarily reduce battery performance.
- Fan not working:
- Check if the Ignite system is powered on.
- Ensure the battery is adequately charged.
- Inspect the fan area for any obstructions.
