4.1 Front Panel

  1. Remove the existing car stereo from your vehicle.
  2. Attach the supplied mounting brackets to the sides of the BVL62 unit using the provided screws. Ensure the brackets are securely fastened.
  3. Slide the unit into the Double DIN opening in your vehicle's dashboard.

6. Basic Operation

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the front panel to turn the unit on. Press and hold the power button to turn the unit off.

Use the volume up/down buttons on the front panel or the remote control to adjust the audio level.

6.3 Source Selection

From the main menu on the touchscreen, tap the desired icon (e.g., Radio, Disc, USB, Bluetooth, Aux In) to select the audio/video source.

7. Bluetooth Operation

The BVL62 supports Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming.

7.1 Pairing a Device

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  2. On the BVL62, select the 'Bluetooth' icon from the main menu.
  3. Search for available devices on your mobile phone. The unit will appear as 'BELVA BVL62'.
  4. Select 'BELVA BVL62' on your phone to pair. If prompted, enter the PIN '0000'.

7.2 Hands-Free Calling

Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly through the BVL62. Use the touchscreen interface to dial numbers, answer, or end calls. The external microphone ensures clear voice transmission.

7.3 Bluetooth Audio Streaming (A2DP)

After pairing, you can stream audio from your mobile device to the BVL62. Select the 'Bluetooth Audio' option on the unit and control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) from either your phone or the stereo's touchscreen.

8. Phone Mirroring for Android Devices

The BVL62 supports phone mirroring, allowing you to display and control your Android smartphone's screen on the stereo's display.

  1. Connect your Android smartphone to the BVL62 via a USB cable.
  2. Select the 'Phonelink' icon from the main menu on the BVL62.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts on both the stereo and your phone to establish the connection. This may require installing a specific app on your Android device.
  4. Once connected, your phone's screen will be mirrored on the BVL62 display, allowing touch control of your phone's applications.

9. Media Playback

9.1 CD/DVD Playback

  1. Insert a CD or DVD into the disc slot. The unit will automatically switch to Disc mode.
  2. Use the on-screen controls for playback functions such as play, pause, skip, fast forward, and rewind.

9.2 USB/SD Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive into the front USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
  2. Select 'USB' or 'SDHC' from the main menu.
  3. Browse files and folders on the touchscreen to select your desired audio or video content.

10. Radio Operation

  1. Select the 'Radio' icon from the main menu.

11. Camera Inputs

The BVL62 features dedicated inputs for rearview and dash cameras.

  • Rearview Camera: Connect a rearview camera to the 'CAM' RCA input. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the display will automatically switch to the rearview camera feed.
