2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or damage to the appliance, read and follow all instructions carefully.

  • Ensure the appliance is connected to a properly grounded 120V/60Hz/1-ph power outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug.
  • Do not immerse the unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Always place the cooktop on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. Do not block air vents.
  • Use only induction-compatible cookware (ferromagnetic material). Non-compatible cookware will not heat.
  • Do not touch the cooking surface immediately after use, as residual heat may be present.

4. Setup

  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, non-combustible surface. Ensure there is sufficient space (at least 4 inches) around all sides for proper ventilation. Do not place near heat sources or flammable materials.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the NEMA 5-15P power cord into a dedicated 120V/60Hz/1-ph grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Cookware Check: Before operating, ensure you are using induction-compatible cookware. A simple test is to place a magnet on the bottom of the pot; if it sticks, the cookware is compatible.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Place an induction-compatible pot or pan (with contents) on the center of the cooking surface. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Select Mode: The unit typically defaults to a power or temperature setting. Use the TEMP buttons (up/down arrows) to adjust the desired temperature (140°F to 460°F / 60°C to 238°C).
  3. Adjust Settings: Use the TEMP buttons to increase or decrease the heating level. The display will show the current setting.
  4. Timer Function: Press the TIMER button to activate the timer. Use the TIMER buttons (up/down arrows) to set the desired cooking time (0 to 170 minutes). The unit will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
  5. Power Off: After cooking, press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit off. Remove the cookware. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool the internal components.

Important: If no cookware is detected or if incompatible cookware is used, the unit will display an error code and shut off automatically after a short period.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your induction cooktop.

  • Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Cooking Surface: Wipe the vitroceramic glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
  • Body: Clean the stainless steel body with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Air Vents: Periodically check and clean the air intake and exhaust vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use water jets or immerse the unit in water.
  • Store the cooktop in a dry, clean place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting
