Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Moman Teleprompter:

1. Attach the Teleprompter to a Tripod: Secure the teleprompter unit onto the included mini tripod or your existing camera tripod using the 1/4-inch screw mount at the bottom.
2. Install the Beam Splitter Glass: Carefully slide the 70/30 beam splitter glass into the designated slot on the teleprompter unit. Ensure it is seated correctly and securely.
3. Mount Your Camera:
   • For DSLR Cameras: Attach the appropriate adapter ring (49mm-77mm) to your camera lens. Then, slide the teleprompter unit onto the adapter ring. Ensure the camera lens is centered within the teleprompter's opening.
   • For Smartphones: Use the included smartphone holder to secure your smartphone. Mount the holder to the rear opening of the teleprompter. Adjust the position to ensure the phone's camera lens aligns with the teleprompter's opening.

4. Place Your Prompting Device: Position your tablet or large smartphone on the tray below the beam splitter glass. Ensure the screen is facing upwards towards the glass.
5. Attach Accessories (Optional): The teleprompter features two cold shoe mounts on top for attaching external accessories like microphones or LED lights.

Operating Instructions

To use your Moman Teleprompter effectively:

1. Download the Moman Prompter App: Search for "Moman Prompter" on your device's app store (AppStore for iOS, or download from www.momanx.com).
2. Connect the Remote Control:
   • Turn on the remote control.
   • Enable Bluetooth on your prompting device (smartphone/tablet).
   • In the Moman Prompter app, go to settings and connect to the remote control via Bluetooth.

3. Prepare Your Script: Input or paste your script into the Moman Prompter app.
4. Adjust App Settings: Use the app to adjust font size, scrolling speed, font color, and background color for optimal readability. Ensure the "Mirror mode" is enabled so the text appears correctly on the beam splitter glass.

5. Start Recording: Begin your recording while reading the mirrored text on the teleprompter. Use the remote control to start, pause, speed up, or slow down the scrolling script as needed.
6. Wide Angle Shooting: The teleprompter is designed to support wide-angle lenses, minimizing vignetting in your shots.
