Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage.

  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is HOT when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug into a wall socket instead of a power strip during use.
  • The heater features Tip-Over Protection and Overheat Protection for enhanced safety. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your STEALTH JHT100 heater for first use.

1. Base Assembly:

  1. Carefully lay the heater body on its side on a soft, flat surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Take the two halves of the base. Align the cable groove on one half with the power cord of the heater.
  3. Connect the two base halves together around the bottom of the heater, ensuring they snap securely.
  4. Secure the base to the heater body using the provided screws and a screwdriver. Ensure all screws are tightened for stability.

2. Placement:

  • Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any combustible materials.
  • Do not place the heater in areas where it may get wet, such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.

Operating Instructions

Your STEALTH JHT100 heater can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the heater ON or OFF.
  • Mode Button (Wave Icon): Cycles through heating modes: Mid Heat (700W), High Heat (1500W), Cool Fan, and Low Heat.
  • Timer Button (Clock Icon): Sets the auto shut-off timer from 1 to 6 hours.
  • Oscillation Button (Arrows Icon): Activates or deactivates the 70° widespread oscillation feature.

Remote Control Functions:

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

  1. Ensure the heater is turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter cover on the back of the heater.
  3. Gently open the cover and remove the air filter.
  4. Clean the filter using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. Do not wash the filter with water.
  5. Once clean, reinsert the filter and close the cover securely.

General Cleaning:

  • Wipe the exterior of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
