4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your CKL KVM switch:

- Power Off Devices: Ensure all computers and monitors are powered off before beginning the connection process.
- Connect Monitors: Connect your two monitors to the KVM switch's HDMI Output (OUT A, OUT B) ports using HDMI cables.
- Connect Computers (Video): For each computer (PC1 and PC2), connect two HDMI cables from the computer's video outputs to the corresponding PC HDMI Input (A, B) ports on the KVM switch. Note: Each computer requires two HDMI outputs for dual monitor functionality. Adapters (e.g., DisplayPort to HDMI) may be necessary if your computer lacks sufficient HDMI outputs.
- Connect Computers (USB): Connect a USB A-male to B-male cable from a USB port on each computer (PC1 and PC2) to the corresponding PC USB 2.0 Input ports on the KVM switch.
- Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB Mouse/Keyboard (Hotkey) ports on the front panel of the KVM switch. If using a wireless keyboard/mouse with a single dongle, connect the dongle to one of these ports.

5.1 Switching Modes
- Push Button Switching: Press the SELECT button on the front panel of the KVM switch to cycle between Computer 1 and Computer 2. The corresponding LED (1 or 2) will illuminate.
- Keyboard Hotkey Switching: With the Hot Key ON/OFF switch set to ON, you can use keyboard commands. The default hotkey sequence is to double-tap the Ctrl key, then press the number corresponding to the desired computer (e.g., 1 for PC1, 2 for PC2), and finally press Enter. For example, Ctrl, Ctrl, 1, Enter.
- Mouse Switching: Double-click the scroll wheel of your mouse to switch between computers.
