2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards that could cause injury or property damage.

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.
• All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electric Code (NEC). Consult a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections.

5. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your light fixture.

1. Prepare for Installation:
   • Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box to avoid electrical shock.
   • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
2. Mount the Crossbar:
   • Attach the included crossbar-style mount plate to the electrical box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.

3. Wire Connections:
   • Connect the fixture's wires to your house wiring using the wire connectors:
     • Black (Live) to Black (Live)
     • White (Neutral) to White (Neutral)
     • Green/Bare Copper (Ground) to Green/Bare Copper (Ground)
   • Ensure all connections are secure.
4. Attach the Fixture:
   • Carefully align the fixture with the mounting screws on the crossbar and secure it in place.
5. Install the Bulb:
   • Screw an E26 base incandescent or DIMMABLE LED bulb (max 60W) into the socket.

6. Restore Power:
   • Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
7. Initial Self-Test:
   • Upon first power-up, the light will perform a self-test for approximately 20-30 seconds at 100% brightness, then turn off. This is normal operation.

6. Operating Instructions

The Lamomo Motion Sensor Outdoor Light Fixture offers three adjustable lighting modes and customizable sensor settings.

6.1. Setting the Lighting Modes

The fixture has a switch located under the cap for selecting the operating mode. To access the switch, unscrew the top cover of the light fixture. Adjust the switch to your desired mode:

1. Mode 1: Dim Light + Motion Activated
   • The light stays on at a dim brightness (0%-50% adjustable) from dusk to dawn.
   • When motion is detected, the light brightens to 100% for a set duration (20s-180s adjustable), then returns to dim.
2. Mode 2: Motion Activated Only
   • The light remains off from dusk to dawn.
   • When motion is detected, the light turns on at 100% brightness for a set duration (20s-180s adjustable), then turns off completely.
3. Mode 3: Dusk to Dawn (Constant On)
   • The light turns on at 100% brightness at dusk and stays on until dawn.
   • In this mode, the motion sensor is inactive. The light will only turn off by cutting power from the wall switch.

6.2. Adjusting Sensor Settings

After selecting a motion-activated mode (Mode 1 or Mode 2), you can fine-tune the sensor's performance using the adjustment screws located near the sensor:

• Sensor Distance (Sensitivity): Adjusts the range of motion detection from 0 to 40 feet. Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Illumination Time: Sets how long the light stays on at 100% brightness after motion is detected, ranging from 20 seconds to 180 seconds. Turn clockwise to increase duration, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Dim Light Brightness (Mode 1 only): Adjusts the low-level brightness from 0% to 50%.

Note: It is recommended to test the settings after adjustment to ensure desired operation.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your light fixture.

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or glass.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing the bulb. Allow the bulb to cool completely before handling.
• Inspection: Annually inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage.
