3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The robot and remote control require batteries for operation. Please follow these steps:
- Robot: Requires 5x LR6/AA batteries. Three batteries are included for 'Try-me' mode. For regular use, it is recommended to replace these with fresh batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the robot's back, open it, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and close the compartment.
- Remote Control: Requires 2x LR6/AA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the remote's back, open it, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and close the compartment.
Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
3.2 Powering On
After battery installation, locate the power switch on the robot and the remote control. Turn both devices ON. The robot and remote should automatically pair.
