This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your PRIXTON Studio Vintage Vinyl Record Player and Music System. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Do not expose the unit to moisture, rain, or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid blocking ventilation openings.
- Use only the provided power adapter.
- Keep out of reach of children.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
- Place the record player on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
5.2 Dust Cover Installation
Attach the transparent dust cover to the hinges at the rear of the unit. This cover protects the turntable from dust when not in use.
5.3 Power Connection
Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 3) and then plug it into a wall outlet.
5.4 Stylus Protection
Before first use, carefully remove the clear plastic stylus protector from the needle. Ensure the tonearm is unlocked from its rest.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Controls
- Power/Volume Knob: Turn clockwise to power on and increase volume; turn counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.
- Mode Button: Press to cycle through available modes: Phono (Vinyl), Bluetooth, USB, SD, FM Radio, AUX.
- Play/Pause Button: Controls playback for USB/SD/Bluetooth modes.
- Skip Buttons: Navigate tracks for USB/SD/Bluetooth modes, or adjust radio frequency.
6.2 Playing Vinyl Records
- Open the dust cover.
- Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33.3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle.
- Unlock the tonearm from its rest.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and position the stylus over the desired track of the record.
- Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cueing lever. Playback will begin.
- Adjust the volume using the Power/Volume knob.
- To stop playback, lift the tonearm, return it to its rest, and lock it.

6.3 Bluetooth Playback
- Press the Mode button until "Bluetooth" is displayed or indicated. The unit will enter pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "PRIXTON Studio" from the list of devices to pair.
- Once paired, you can play music from your device through the record player's speakers.
6.4 USB/SD Card Playback
- Insert a USB drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot on the front panel.
- Press the Mode button to select "USB" or "SD" mode.
- The unit will automatically begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3, WAV).
- Use the Play/Pause and Skip buttons to control playback.
6.5 FM Radio Operation
- Press the Mode button to select "FM Radio" mode.
- Use the Skip buttons to tune to desired radio stations. Press and hold for automatic scanning.
6.6 Vinyl to WAV Recording (USB/SD)
The PRIXTON Studio can convert vinyl audio to WAV format and save it to a connected USB drive or SD card.
- Ensure a USB drive or SD card is inserted.
- Start playing a vinyl record as described in section 6.2.
- Press the "Record" button (if available, or refer to specific button on your model for recording function). The display may indicate recording status.
- To stop recording, press the "Record" button again. The WAV file will be saved to the USB drive or SD card.
Note: Refer to the specific button layout on your unit for the exact recording function button.
6.7 External Audio Output (RCA/Headphones)
- RCA Output: Connect RCA cables (not included) from the RCA output ports on the rear of the unit (Figure 3) to an external amplifier or powered speakers.
- Headphone Output: Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack (location may vary, typically on the front or side panel) for private listening.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the unit and dust cover with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
7.2 Stylus Care
- The stylus (needle) is a delicate component. Handle with care.
- Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
- A worn stylus can damage records and degrade sound quality. Replace the stylus (ruby pin) when sound quality deteriorates or after approximately 300-500 hours of use.
8. Troubleshooting
