Setup
1. Power On/Off
To power on the headphones, press and hold the power button located on the right ear cup until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the same button until the light turns off.
2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Philips A4216" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid blue.
3. Wired Connection
For a wired connection, plug one end of a 3.5 mm audio cable (not included) into the audio port on the headphones and the other end into your audio device. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.
4. Charging
Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the headphones and the other end to a USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 35 hours of playback. A 15-minute quick charge can provide an additional 2 hours of play time.

The headphones feature a multi-function button for various controls:
- Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
- Next Track: Press the multi-function button twice.
- Previous Track: Press the multi-function button three times.
- Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once during an incoming call or during an active call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds when no call is active.
2. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Awareness Modes
The headphones offer different listening modes:
- ANC (Active Noise Cancellation): Reduces ambient noise for an immersive listening experience.
- Awareness Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio, enhancing safety.
- Normal Mode: Standard audio playback without noise cancellation or awareness features.
Switch between these modes using the dedicated ANC button on the left ear cup.
