The INTEX ZX50 is an ultra-convenient suction-side automatic pool floor cleaner designed to simplify pool maintenance. Designed for INTEX and other above ground pools up to 16ft diameter x 48in (round pools) and/or 20ft x 10ft x 48in rectangular. It works with filter pumps rated 900 to 1,500 gallons per minute water flow.

The Intex Suction Side Pool Cleaner should be set up by connecting it to the filter pump, ensuring the pump has a flow rate of 900 to 1,500 gallons/hour. Clean the mesh filter once every few days depending on the amount of debris in the swimming pool. The pump will automatically stop when the Intex Suction Side Pool Cleaner mesh filter is full.

Assembly and Connection:

1. Ensure your filter pump meets the required flow rate of 900 to 1,500 gallons per hour.
2. Connect the 21ft no-tangle hose to the cleaner's inlet.
3. Attach the other end of the hose to the suction outlet of your pool.
4. Place the cleaner into the pool.
5. Turn on your pool's filter pump to begin the cleaning process.

Operating Instructions

Once connected and the filter pump is active, the ZX50 cleaner will automatically begin patrolling your pool floor. Its water-powered all-wheel drive system ensures swift cleaning performance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your ZX50 pool cleaner is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.

Cleaning the Debris Tray:

1. Turn off your filter pump before removing the cleaner from the pool.
2. Carefully lift the cleaner out of the water.
3. Locate and remove the quarter-gallon mesh debris tray.
4. Empty any collected debris and rinse the tray thoroughly with a garden hose.
5. Reinsert the clean debris tray back into the cleaner.

It is recommended to clean the mesh filter once every few days, depending on the amount of debris in your swimming pool. The cleaner's pump will automatically stop when the mesh filter is full, indicating it's time for cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If your INTEX ZX50 pool cleaner is not performing as expected, consider the following:

• Check Pump Flow Rate: Ensure your filter pump is operating within the recommended flow rate of 900 to 1,500 gallons per hour. Insufficient flow can affect the cleaner's movement and suction.
• Clean Filter Tray: A full or clogged debris tray will reduce the cleaner's effectiveness. Regularly check and empty the tray.
