Setup

Follow these steps to set up your FOOWIN Portable Monitor:

1. Power Connection: Connect the monitor to a power source using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). Ensure sufficient power is supplied to avoid flickering or instability.
2. Device Connection:
   • USB-C (Full Function): For devices with a full-featured USB-C port (e.g., some laptops, MacBooks, phones), use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable. This single cable can transmit both video signal and power.
   • Mini HDMI: For devices with an HDMI output (e.g., PS5/PS4, Xbox, Switch, desktop PCs, laptops), use the provided Mini HDMI to HDMI cable. An additional USB-C to USB-A cable will be required for power.
3. Positioning: Use the magnetic smart cover to prop up the monitor in your desired viewing angle. The cover can be folded to create a stable stand.
4. Audio: If you prefer external audio, connect headphones or external speakers to the 3.5mm Audio Jack. The monitor also has built-in speakers.
5. Peripherals (OTG): If your device supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality via the monitor, you can connect a keyboard or mouse to the OTG USB port on the monitor.

Operating the Monitor

The FOOWIN Portable Monitor offers various display modes and settings for optimal use.

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

Use the "Manu +/-" buttons located on the side of the monitor to navigate the OSD menu. These buttons typically control power, menu access, and navigation within the menu.

• Press the Menu button to open the OSD.
• Use the +/- buttons to navigate through options.
• Press the Menu button again to select an option or confirm a setting.
• Common settings include Brightness, Contrast, Color Temperature, Input Source, and Aspect Ratio.

Display Modes

The monitor supports multiple display modes, configurable through your connected device's display settings:

• Duplicate Mode: Mirrors the content of your primary screen. Ideal for presentations or sharing content.
• Extend Mode: Extends your desktop workspace, allowing you to have different applications open on each screen. Increases productivity.
• Second Screen Mode: Uses only the portable monitor as the display.
• Portrait Mode: Rotates the display 90 degrees for vertical viewing. Useful for coding, document viewing, or social media feeds. (Note: May require manual rotation settings on your connected device and an external stand for stability.)
