Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Positioning: Place the steam generator iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface, such as an ironing board designed for steam generators. Ensure there is enough space around the unit.
3. Filling the Water Tank:
   • Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
   • Remove the water tank from the base unit.
   • Fill the 1.5L tank with tap water. For areas with very hard water, a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% distilled water is recommended. Do not use scented water, water from tumble dryers, or chemically descaled water.
   • Replace the water tank securely into the base unit.

   

4. Connecting to Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button. The iron will heat up quickly, typically within 30 seconds. An indicator light will show when the iron is ready.
2. Smart Technology Temperature Setting: The iron features Smart Technology, which automatically adjusts the temperature for all ironable fabrics. No manual temperature dial is needed.
3. Steam Settings:
   • ECO Mode: For delicate fabrics or when less steam is required. Press the ECO button on the iron handle.
   • MAX Mode: For tougher wrinkles and thicker fabrics, providing maximum steam output. Press the MAX button on the iron handle.

   

4. Steam Shot: For stubborn creases, press the steam shot button (usually located under the handle) to release a powerful burst of steam (120 g/min).
5. Super Steam (Electronic Burst): For extremely tough wrinkles, the iron can deliver an electronic super steam burst of 380 g/min. This is typically activated by a specific button or double-pressing the steam button. Refer to your iron's specific controls.

   

6. Vertical Steaming: The powerful steam output allows for vertical steaming of hanging garments, curtains, and drapes. Hold the iron a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam button.
7. Auto-Off Function: For safety and energy saving, the iron will automatically switch off after 7 minutes of inactivity. To restart, simply move the iron or press any button.
8. Lock System for Transport: When finished ironing, place the iron back on its base. Engage the lock system (refer to the image below) to secure the iron to the base for safe carrying and storage.

   

Maintenance

Electronic Calc&Clean System:

The Calc&Clean system helps maintain optimal performance by removing limescale buildup. The iron will indicate when cleaning is required.

1. Ensure the water tank is full.
2. Place the iron on its Calc&Clean tray (if provided, or a suitable container) on a heat-resistant surface.
3. Press and hold the Calc&Clean button (refer to your iron's specific button layout, often near the steam controls) for a few seconds until the cleaning cycle begins.
4. The iron will automatically perform a descaling cycle, expelling hot water and steam. Do not interrupt this process.
5. Once the cycle is complete, the iron will beep and the indicator light will turn off. Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing.

General Cleaning:

• Always unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use metallic scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
