Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate, or install the product. Failure to do so could result in fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.

• Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.
• Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• The fireplace has 750W & 1500W two modes for heating, adjustable for both warmth and energy saving. Supplemental zone heating is for up to 400 square feet.
• Features auto-heat kill safety to prevent overheating.

Setup & Installation

The Electactic electric fireplace offers versatile installation options: it can be fully recessed into a wall or surface-mounted. Choose the method that best suits your space and aesthetic preferences.

Installation Methods:

1. Recessed Installation: Requires a cutout in the wall. Ensure the opening dimensions are appropriate for the fireplace (approx. 44.9"-49.2" W x 16.9"-17.7" H x 3.1"-3.5" D). This method provides a flush, built-in look.
2. Wall Mounted Installation: The fireplace can be directly mounted onto a wall surface. The slim design (3.86" depth) ensures it does not protrude excessively.

General Installation Steps:

1. Remove the glass frame from the unit.
2. Remove the mounting bracket from the fireplace.
3. Settle the holes for screws on the wall.
4. Drill and install the wall anchors.
5. Place the pads and fix the fireplace securely.
6. Place the decorative crystals inside the fireplace.
7. Hang the glass frame back onto the unit.
8. Refasten the glass frame securely.

Operating Instructions

Your Electactic electric fireplace can be operated using either the included remote control or the integrated touch screen panel on the unit.

Control Modes:

• Power Switch: Turn the unit ON/OFF.
• Timer Control: Set a timer for 1-8 hours for automatic shut-off.
• Independent Heating & Flame: Control heating and flame effects separately.
• Adjustable Flame Color: Choose from 12 different flame colors to match your mood or decor.
• Adjustable Flame Speed: Select from 5 different flame speeds.
• Adjustable Brightness: Adjust flame brightness with 5 levels.
• Sleep Mode: For reduced light output during sleep.

Heating Functions:

• Select between 750W and 1500W heating modes.
• The heater provides supplemental zone heating for areas up to 400 square feet.
• The heat is designed to maintain natural humidity in the air.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Electactic electric fireplace.

• Cleaning: Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
• Air Vents: Periodically check and clean the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust.
• Glass Panel: Clean the glass panel with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner.
• Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a dry, dust-free location.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the main power switch on the unit is ON. Check your household circuit breaker.
• No Heat: Verify that the heater function is activated via the remote or touch panel. Ensure the thermostat setting is higher than the room temperature. Check for any obstructions in the air vents.
• Flames Not Working: Ensure the flame effect is turned on. Check the brightness and color settings.
• Remote Not Working: Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace's sensor.
• Unusual Noise: A slight fan noise is normal during heating operation. If the noise is excessive or unusual, ensure vents are clear and contact customer support if it persists.
