5. Installation

5.1 Before You Begin

5.3 Installation Steps

1. Disconnect Power: At your home's main circuit breaker, turn off the power to the switch you are replacing.
2. Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the faceplate and unscrew the old switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires, noting which wire was connected to which terminal.
3. Connect Wires: Connect the wires from your wall box to the corresponding terminals on the Smart WiFi Touch Switch as shown in Figure 5.1. Ensure secure connections.
   • Connect the Neutral wire to the 'N' terminal.

6. Setup (App & Network)

6.1 Download the App

Search for the recommended smart home application (e.g., Smart Life, Tuya Smart) on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install it.

6.2 Pairing Process

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The switch does not support 5GHz networks.
2. Open the installed smart home app and register or log in to your account.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. This typically involves selecting 'Electrical Switch' or 'Wall Switch'.
