4.2 Component Installation Order

Follow this general order for installing components:

  1. Motherboard: Install the motherboard (ATX, Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX) onto the pre-installed standoffs. Secure with screws.
  2. CPU and CPU Cooler: Install your CPU and CPU cooler (air or liquid) onto the motherboard before or after installing the motherboard into the case, depending on cooler size. Max CPU cooler height is 160mm.
  3. Memory (RAM): Install RAM modules into the motherboard slots.
  4. Storage Drives: Install 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs into their designated bays.
  5. Power Supply Unit (PSU): Install the ATX PSU in the bottom mount. Ensure its length does not exceed 200mm.
  6. Graphics Card (GPU): Install the graphics card into the appropriate PCIe slot. Max GPU length is 400mm.
  7. Case Fans/Radiators: Install up to ten 120mm fans or liquid cooling radiators (up to 360mm) in the top, side, or bottom positions as desired for optimal airflow.

4.3 Cable Management

Utilize the space behind the motherboard tray for routing and organizing cables. This improves airflow and maintains a clean aesthetic.

  • Route power cables and data cables through the cutouts to the back of the case.
  • Use cable ties or Velcro straps to bundle cables neatly.
  • Connect front panel I/O cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. The USB cable is shielded for interference-free data transmission.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On

Once all components are installed and cables are connected, replace the tempered glass side panels. Connect your power cable to the PSU and press the power button on the top I/O panel to start your system.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your PC components.

  • Dust Filter Cleaning: The case is equipped with a top magnetic dust filter. Regularly remove and clean this filter to prevent dust buildup inside the case, which can impede airflow and cooling performance.
  • Interior Cleaning: Periodically open the side panels and use compressed air to remove dust from internal components, especially fans, heatsinks, and radiators.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces and tempered glass panels with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

  • System Does Not Power On:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the PSU and the wall outlet.
    • Check that the PSU switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify all internal power connections (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, GPU power) are correctly seated.
    • Confirm the front panel power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard header.
  • No Display Output:
    • Ensure your monitor is connected to the graphics card (GPU) output, not the motherboard's integrated graphics ports (unless using integrated graphics).
    • Reseat the graphics card and RAM modules.
  • RGB Strip Not Lighting Up:
    • Check the internal connection of the RGB strip's power cable.
    • Ensure the LED button cable from the front panel is correctly connected.
    • Press the LED button to cycle through modes.
  • Poor Airflow/Overheating:
    • Clean the dust filter and internal components.
    • Verify that all installed fans are spinning correctly and oriented for optimal airflow (intake/exhaust).
    • Ensure proper cable management to avoid obstructing airflow.
