5. Setup

5.1 Mounting

The VEGA Theater PAR 50 can be mounted using its adjustable bracket. Ensure the mounting surface or truss is capable of supporting the fixture's weight. Use appropriate clamps and safety cables (not included) for secure installation.

1. Attach a suitable clamp to the mounting bracket.
2. Secure the fixture to a truss or mounting bar.
3. Always use a safety cable, attaching it to the designated safety point on the fixture.
4. Adjust the tilt angle using the side knobs on the bracket.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the supplied power cable to the power input on the rear panel of the fixture and then to a grounded AC90-240V, 50/60Hz power outlet.

For DMX control, connect a DMX controller to the DMX IN port using a 3-pin XLR cable. If linking multiple units, connect the DMX OUT of the first unit to the DMX IN of the next, and so on.

The rear panel features a digital display and four control buttons:

• MENU: Accesses the main menu or cycles through menu options.

6.2 DMX Addressing

1. Press the MENU button until the DMX address setting appears on the display.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the DMX address (001-512).
3. Press ENTER to confirm the address.

The VEGA Theater PAR 50 can operate in standalone mode without a DMX controller. Specific modes (e.g., static dimmer, sound-activated) can be selected via the control panel. Refer to the display for available options.

6.4 Barn Door Adjustment
