1. Product Overview

The Ingenuity Soothe 'n Delight Safari Bouncer is designed to provide a comfortable and soothing experience for your baby. This bouncer features a plush seat with removable head support, two recline positions, and a removable toy bar with two engaging toys. It also includes soothing sounds, melodies, vibrations, and white noise to help calm your child.

• Never leave child unattended.
• Always use the restraint system.
• This bouncer is not intended for prolonged periods of sleep.
• Do not use this bouncer once your child can sit up unaided or weighs more than 20 lbs (9 kg).
• Never use this bouncer on an elevated surface (e.g., a table).
• Always place the bouncer on a flat, level floor.
• Never move the bouncer with the child in it.

4. Setup and Assembly

While the bouncer requires minimal assembly, please follow these steps to ensure proper setup:

1. Unfold the Frame: Carefully unfold the bouncer frame until it locks into position. Ensure all legs are securely extended.
2. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment, usually on the underside of the control unit. Insert 3 C batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.
3. Attach Seat Pad: Drape the seat pad over the frame. Secure the straps and buckles of the seat pad to the corresponding points on the bouncer frame. Ensure the harness straps are accessible.
4. Insert Head Support: Place the removable head support into the designated area on the seat pad.
5. Attach Toy Bar: Align the toy bar with the slots on either side of the bouncer frame. Press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached and cannot be easily dislodged.
6. Attach Toys: Hang the two provided toys onto the loops on the toy bar.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Placing Your Baby

• Gently place your baby into the bouncer seat.
• Always secure your baby with the 3-point harness. Adjust the straps for a snug, comfortable fit.

5.2 Adjusting Recline Positions

The bouncer offers 2 recline positions for your baby's comfort. To adjust, locate the recline adjustment mechanism on the sides of the bouncer frame. Simultaneously press the buttons or levers and move the seat to the desired position until it locks securely.

5.3 Using Soothing Features

The control panel, located at the front of the bouncer, allows you to activate various soothing features:

• Vibration: Press the vibration button to activate gentle vibrations. Press again to cycle through intensity levels or turn off.
• Sounds & Melodies: Press the music note button to play various melodies and soothing sounds. Press again to change the sound or turn off.
• White Noise: Some models may include a dedicated white noise function. Refer to the specific button on your control panel.

5.4 Toy Bar and Toys

• The toy bar can be rotated for easy access to your baby or removed entirely when not needed.
• The hanging toys are designed to engage your baby. Ensure they are securely attached.

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Seat Pad and Head Support

• The seat pad and head support are removable for cleaning.
• Care Instructions: Hand wash with cold water and mild soap. Do not bleach. Air dry flat. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

6.2 Cleaning the Frame and Toys

• Wipe the bouncer frame, plastic components, and toys with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Do not immerse the control unit in water.
• Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or use.

6.3 Battery Replacement

• When sounds or vibrations weaken, it's time to replace the batteries.
• Always replace all 3 C batteries at the same time.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
