3. Product Features
3.1 Modular Flip-Up Design
The helmet features an advanced modular flip-up design, allowing the chin bar and visor to be raised together. This provides convenience for communication, drinking, or getting more air without removing the entire helmet. To operate, locate the release button on the chin bar and press it while lifting the chin bar upwards until it locks into place.

3.2 Dual Visor System
The Model 159 is equipped with a clear outer visor for wide visual field and an internal dark sun visor for additional eye protection from sunlight. 3.4 Comfort and Secure Fit

3.5 Pinlock Ready Visor
The clear outer visor is equipped with Pinlock nails, allowing for the installation of a Pinlock 30 anti-fog insert (sold separately) to prevent fogging in various weather conditions.

4. Sizing Guide
To ensure maximum safety and comfort, it is crucial to select the correct helmet size. Measure the circumference of your head just above the eyebrows and refer to the chart below. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.

5. Setup
5.1 Adjusting the Chin Strap
- Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and comfortably.
- Fasten the quick-release buckle under your chin.
- Adjust the strap length so that it is snug but not uncomfortably tight. You should be able to fit one finger between the strap and your chin.
- Ensure the helmet cannot be rolled off your head when the strap is fastened.
5.2 Ensuring Proper Fit
- The helmet should fit snugly around your head, with no excessive movement when you shake your head.
- Cheek pads should press firmly against your cheeks.
- The helmet should not cause any pressure points or discomfort.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Operating the Modular Front
- To open: Locate the release button at the center bottom of the chin bar. Press the button and lift the chin bar upwards until it clicks into its fully open position.
- To close: Pull the chin bar down firmly until it locks securely into the closed position. Ensure it is fully latched before riding.
6.2 Operating the Clear Outer Visor
- To open: Use the tab on the bottom edge of the visor to lift it upwards. The visor has multiple detent positions.
- To close: Pull the visor down until it securely latches into the closed position.
6.3 Operating the Internal Sun Visor
- To deploy: Locate the slider switch on the left side of the helmet, near the visor pivot. Slide it forward to lower the sun visor.
- To retract: Slide the switch backward to raise the sun visor back into the helmet shell.
6.4 Adjusting Ventilation
- Front Vents: Located on the chin bar. Slide the switch to open or close.
- Top Vents: Located on the top of the helmet. Slide the switch to open or close.
- Rear Exhaust Vents: These are typically passive or have a simple open/close mechanism to allow hot air to escape.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Helmet Shell
- Use a soft cloth and mild soap with lukewarm water.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or petroleum-based products, as these can damage the helmet's finish and materials.
- Wipe gently and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
7.2 Cleaning Visors
- Remove the visors from the helmet.
- Wash with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. A small amount of mild soap can be used if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not wipe dry, as this can scratch the visor.
- For Pinlock inserts, follow the specific cleaning instructions provided with the insert.
7.3 Removing and Washing Interior Pads
- The liner and cheek pads are removable for cleaning. Gently detach them from their anchor points inside the helmet.
- Hand wash the pads with mild soap and lukewarm water.

8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Visor Fogging
- Ensure proper ventilation by opening the helmet's vents.

8.2 Chin Bar Not Latching Securely
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the latching mechanism.
