Important Safety Instructions

• Indoor Use Only: This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors or immerse in water.
• Electrical Safety: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
• Placement: Always place the heating pad flat on a well-drained surface (without standing water). For optimal heat transfer, consider placing it on an insulated surface rather than directly on a cold floor.
• Avoid Folding: Do not fold the heating pad when using or storing.
• Sharp Objects: Keep the heating pad away from sharp objects to prevent damage.

Setup Instructions

1. Placement of Heat Mat: Place the VIVOSUN Seedling Heat Mat on a flat, dry, and well-drained surface. For optimal heat transfer, consider placing it on an insulated surface rather than directly on a cold floor.
2. Connect Thermostat: Plug the heat mat into the temperature controller's outlet.
3. Power Connection: Plug the temperature controller into a standard 120V AC North American outlet.
4. Sensor Probe Placement: Insert the sensor probe into the growing medium (soil or water) of your plant tray to accurately monitor the root temperature. Ensure the probe is securely placed and will not be dislodged.
5. Plant Tray Placement: Place your plant tray, with a humidity dome if desired, directly on the heat mat. A humidity dome can help maintain a warmer area and consistent humidity for better rooting.

Operating Instructions

Digital Thermostat Temperature Controller

The digital thermostat allows precise control over the heat mat's temperature, ensuring optimal conditions for your plants.

1. Power On/Off: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn the controller on or off.
2. View Current Target Temperature: Press the "SET" button once to display the current target temperature on the LED screen.
3. Set New Target Temperature:
   1. Hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds until the display flashes.
   2. Use the "UP" (↑) or "DOWN" (↓) buttons to adjust the target temperature to your desired setting (range: 40–108 °F).
   3. Press "SET" again to confirm the new target temperature. The display will stop flashing and return to showing the real-time temperature.
4. Change Temperature Unit (°F/°C):
   1. Press the "↑" button to display temperature in Fahrenheit (°F).
   2. Press the "↓" button to display temperature in Celsius (°C).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: The heat mat's IP67 rated waterproof surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the mat is unplugged and completely dry before cleaning or storing. Do not immerse the mat or controller in water.
• Storage: When not in use, roll up the heat mat and store it in the provided carrying bag. Avoid folding the mat or placing heavy/sharp objects on it during storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
