3. Device Layout and Features
Familiarize yourself with the physical layout and key features of your TIMMKOO Q5 MP3 Player:
- 4.0-inch Full Touch Screen: High-definition display for intuitive navigation and media consumption.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
4.2 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the side until the TIMMKOO logo appears.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until a power-off menu appears, then select 'Power off'.
- Screen Lock/Unlock: Briefly press the Power button to lock or unlock the screen.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Navigation
The TIMMKOO Q5 features a full touch screen for intuitive control. Swipe left/right or up/down to navigate through menus and applications. Tap icons to open them. Use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen for Home, Back, and Recent Apps.

5.2 Music Playback
The device supports various audio formats including MP3, WAV, FLAC, APE, OGG, M4A, AAC, WMA, and MP2.
- Uploading Music: Connect the device to your computer using the USB-C cable. Drag and drop music files into the designated folders on the device's internal storage or inserted Micro SD card.
- Sorting and Playlists: The powerful Music App allows you to sort songs by title, folder, albums, artists, genre, or album+artist. You can also create and manage playlists in batches.
- Playback Modes: Choose from shuffle all, sequential play, loop single, or list loop.
- EQ Styles: Preset 8 EQ styles for customized sound.

5.3 Video Playback
The Q5 supports 720p and 1080p high-resolution video playback. Upload videos by connecting the device to a computer via USB-C and dragging files to the video folder.
5.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
The device is equipped with full-featured duplex Bluetooth 4.2, ensuring stable compatibility with Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and car stereos.
- Pairing: Go to 'Settings' > 'Bluetooth', turn Bluetooth on, and select your desired device from the 'Available Devices' list to pair.
5.5 Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Wi-Fi functionality on the TIMMKOO Q5 is limited to specific uses:
- Network Time Synchronization: For accurate time and date settings.
- File Transfer: Use the provided File Transfer App to easily transfer files between your smartphone (especially Android devices) and the player.
- Website Browsing: The built-in browser allows for basic internet access.
Note: Wi-Fi is NOT for downloading music or apps online. The device does not support installing additional apps.

5.6 FM Radio
The device includes an FM radio function. Navigate to the FM Radio app to scan for and listen to local stations.

5.7 Recorder
Use the built-in recorder app to capture audio. This is useful for voice notes, lectures, or other audio recordings.

5.10 Disabling/Uninstalling Apps
The TIMMKOO Q5 allows you to disable or uninstall certain pre-installed applications like FM Radio, Videos, Ebook, Browser, and Recorder to customize your device. This helps manage storage and personalize your experience.
