1. Product Overview
The TIMMKOO Q5 is a versatile WiFi MP3 player designed for a comprehensive audio-visual experience. Featuring a 4.0-inch full touch screen, it supports HiFi lossless music playback and high-resolution video. Beyond music and video, the device includes functionalities such as FM Radio, a voice recorder, an e-book reader, a clock, and a web browser. It offers flexible file transfer options via USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, ensuring easy management of your media library.

2. Setup Guide
2.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the player's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter or computer USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
2.2 Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the TIMMKOO logo appears on the screen.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until a power-off menu appears. Select "Power off" to shut down the device.
2.3 Initial Configuration
Upon first power-on, you may be prompted to select your preferred language and set the date and time. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete these initial settings.
2.4 Expanding Storage
The TIMMKOO Q5 comes with 8GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage capacity by inserting a Micro SD/TF card (up to 512GB) into the dedicated slot on the side of the device. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

3. Operating the Device
3.1 Navigation and Interface
The Q5 features a 4.0-inch full touch screen for intuitive navigation. Swipe left or right to browse through applications. Physical buttons on the side control power and volume. The interface is designed for ease of use.
3.2 Music Playback
Tap the "Music" icon to open the music player. Songs can be sorted by title, folder, albums, artists, genre, or album+artist. You can create and manage playlists, and choose from four playing sequences: shuffle all, sequential play, loop single, or list loop. Eight preset EQ styles are available for audio customization.

3.3 Video Playback
The Q5 supports 720p and 1080p high-resolution video playback. Tap the "Videos" icon to access your video library. The 4-inch screen provides an immersive viewing experience.

3.4 Bluetooth Connectivity
The device is equipped with full-featured duplex Bluetooth for stable connections. To pair with Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or car stereo, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth", turn Bluetooth on, and select your desired device from the available list.

3.5 Wi-Fi Functionality and File Transfer
Wi-Fi on the Q5 is primarily used for synchronizing network time, file transfer, and website browsing. It does not support downloading music or apps directly online. For file transfer, you can use the provided USB-C cable, Bluetooth, or the dedicated File Transfer App to easily move files between your smartphone (especially Android devices) and the player.

3.6 Other Pre-installed Applications
The device comes with several pre-installed applications including FM Radio, Videos, Ebook, Browser, Recorder, Clock, Calculator, and Calendar. You have the option to disable or uninstall some of these apps to customize your device experience. Note that installing additional apps is not supported.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Care
The Q5 features a built-in 1800mAh lithium battery, offering approximately 50 hours of continuous music playback or 8 hours of video playback, with up to 670 hours of standby time. To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully discharging the battery regularly. Charge the device using only the provided cable or a certified USB-C charger.

4.2 Cleaning and Storage
Wipe the screen and body with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
4.3 Software Updates
Periodically check for software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features. Update instructions will be provided by the manufacturer if new firmware versions are released.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again. If unresponsive, press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
- Unable to connect to Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the player and the target device. Make sure both devices are within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the devices.
- Files not appearing after transfer: Verify that files are in compatible formats. Ensure the Micro SD card is properly inserted if using external storage. Restart the device to refresh the media library.
- Screen unresponsive: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, a factory data reset might be necessary (see 5.2).
- Poor audio quality: Check the volume levels. Ensure headphones or speakers are properly connected. If using Bluetooth, ensure a stable connection.
5.2 Factory Data Reset
If you encounter persistent issues, a factory data reset can resolve many software-related problems. Warning: This will erase all data on the device, including music, videos, photos, and settings. Back up important files before proceeding. To perform a reset, go to "Settings" > "Factory data reset" and confirm your choice.
