Thank you for choosing the Ninjutso Origin One X Wireless Gaming Mouse. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device. Please read it carefully to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your mouse.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present in your package:

  • USB Wireless Receiver
  • USB-C Charging Cable

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the mouse's USB-C port and the other end to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The mouse uses a 1 Lithium-ion battery.

Note: The mouse does not feature an easily visible battery life indicator on the top. The only indicator is located underneath the mouse.

3.2 Connecting the Mouse

  1. Locate the USB wireless receiver.
  2. Plug the USB wireless receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on the bottom of the mouse.
  4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The mouse is designed for plug-and-play functionality, requiring no additional software.

3.3 Power On/Off

Use the switch located on the bottom of the mouse to turn it ON or OFF. Turning the mouse off when not in use helps conserve battery life.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Functionality

  • Left Click: Primary action.
  • Right Click: Secondary action/context menu.
  • Scroll Wheel: For vertical scrolling. The scroll wheel is designed for tactile feedback.
  • Side Buttons: Typically used for forward and backward navigation in web browsers or customizable in games.

4.2 DPI Adjustment

The DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity can be adjusted using the dedicated DPI button located on the bottom of the mouse. Press this button to cycle through preset DPI levels. The DPI settings are designed to be familiar to users of Zowie mice, covering a range suitable for most needs.

4.3 Wireless Technology

The Ninjutso Origin One X utilizes SnappyFire wireless technology, providing a low-latency wireless connection. This technology aims to deliver performance comparable to, or exceeding, some wired mice.

5. Charging and Battery Life

The mouse is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. A full charge can provide up to approximately 48 hours of battery life, depending on usage. To charge, connect the USB-C cable to the mouse and a power source.

As noted in user feedback, the only battery indicator is located on the underside of the mouse. There is no prominent indicator on the top surface.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean your mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the mouse's internal components. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The mouse's coating may show smudges, especially on the black variant.

6.2 PTFE Feet

The mouse is equipped with 100% PTFE feet for smooth gliding. Keep the feet clean and free of debris to maintain optimal performance. If the feet become worn, replacements may be available from the manufacturer.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse Not Responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is turned ON using the switch on the bottom.
    • Check if the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
    • Verify the mouse battery is charged.
    • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  • Input Delay or Lag:
    • Ensure the USB receiver is not obstructed and is close to the mouse.
    • Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
    • Ensure the mouse battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Scroll Wheel Malfunction:
    • Check for any debris or dust obstructing the scroll wheel.
    • If the rubber on the scroll wheel becomes loose, contact support.
  • Lift-Off Distance (LOD) Concerns:
    • The mouse's lift-off distance is a fixed characteristic of the sensor. While some users may perceive it as high, it is generally consistent with other mice.
