Important Safety Instructions

• Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged in.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Setup

Operating Instructions

Basic Toasting

1. Insert slices of bread or other items into the toasting slots. The extra-wide slots accommodate various bread types, bagels, and waffles.
2. Select your desired browning level using the browning control dial located on the side of the toaster. Settings range from 1 (lightest) to 6 (darkest).
3. Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toaster will begin the toasting cycle.
4. Once the selected browning cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will switch off.

Special Functions

The toaster includes dedicated buttons for specific toasting needs:

• Bagel Function: Press the Bagel button after lowering the carriage lever. This function toasts the cut side of the bagel while gently warming the other side. The blue LED indicator will illuminate.
• Defrost Function: Press the Defrost button after lowering the carriage lever. This function thaws and then toasts frozen bread. The blue LED indicator will illuminate.
• Reheat Function: Press the Reheat button after lowering the carriage lever. This function warms already toasted bread without further browning. The blue LED indicator will illuminate.
• Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button. The carriage lever will immediately pop up.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.

1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Crumb Tray: The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning. Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster, empty the crumbs, and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the tray is completely dry before reinserting it.
3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the finish.
4. Interior Cleaning: Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean them. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully invert it to dislodge the food.
