4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Headrest Mounting
The XTRONS headrest DVD players are designed for easy installation on most car headrests. Follow these steps:
- Choose the appropriate set of drive pipes that fit your headrest poles and install them.
- Compress the two spring clips on the mounting bracket and attach it to the headrest poles. Release the clips to secure the bracket.
- Slide the headrest player onto the mounting bracket.
- Adjust the distance of the player and secure it with the provided screw.
- For a clean installation, hide the cables by inserting the ISO wiring harness from the bottom of the headrest and guiding it under the seat to a suitable power supply.

Compatibility Note: The universal mounting bracket is adjustable for most car headrests. Adjustable bracket distance (A->B) is 4.41 inches (112mm) to 6.42 inches (163mm). Maximum distance between monitor to bracket (C->D) is 0.79 inches (20mm). Please note that headrests with curved poles, hidden poles, or cuboid poles may not be compatible.

4.2 Power Connection
The unit can be powered via the car's cigarette lighter socket or hardwired into the vehicle's electrical system. An extra adapter is required for home use (not included).
