1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Epson EcoTank L15160 A3 Wi-Fi Duplex All-In-One Ink Tank Colour Printer. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the printer and keep it for future reference. The Epson EcoTank L15160 is designed for high-volume printing, scanning, copying, and faxing, supporting up to A3 size documents with automatic duplex capabilities.
2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the printer or injury to yourself:
- Place the printer on a stable, level surface.
- Do not block ventilation openings.
- Use only the power cord supplied with the printer.
- Keep the printer away from water and excessive humidity.
- Do not attempt to service the printer yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are included in the package:

4. Setup
4.1 Physical Setup
Unpack the printer and remove all protective materials. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.

4.2 Ink Filling
- Open the ink tank unit cover on the left side of the printer.
- Open the cap for the black ink tank.
- Uncap the black ink bottle and insert it into the filling port. The ink will automatically fill the tank.
- Once the tank is full, remove the bottle and securely close the ink tank cap.
- Repeat for Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow ink tanks.
- Close the ink tank unit cover.
4.3 Software Installation
Insert the provided CD-ROM into your computer's drive or download the latest drivers and software from the official Epson support website. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4.4 Network Connection
The L15160 supports Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet connectivity.
- Wi-Fi Setup: On the printer's control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Setup. Select your network and enter the password.
- Ethernet Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network hub to the printer's Ethernet port.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Loading Paper
The printer features multiple paper trays. Load paper into the desired tray, ensuring it is aligned correctly with the paper guides. The printer supports up to A3+ size paper.

5.2 Printing
- Open the document or image you wish to print on your computer or mobile device.
- Select Print from the application's menu.
- Choose Epson L15160 as your printer.
- Adjust print settings such as paper size (e.g., A3), print quality, and duplex printing (automatic) as needed.
- Click Print.
5.3 Scanning
Place your document face down on the scanner glass or face up in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
- From Computer: Use Epson Scan software to initiate scanning and adjust settings.
- From Printer: Select Scan on the control panel, choose your destination (e.g., computer, cloud, USB drive), and follow prompts.
5.4 Copying
Place the document on the scanner glass or in the ADF.
- Press the Copy button on the control panel.
- Adjust settings such as number of copies, paper size, and color/black & white.
- Press Start.
5.5 Faxing
Connect a phone line to the printer's FAX port. Place your document on the scanner glass or in the ADF.
- Press the Fax button on the control panel.
- Enter the recipient's fax number using the numeric keypad.
- Press Start.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Ink Tank Refilling
When an ink tank level is low, refill it using genuine Epson ink bottles. Refer to Section 4.2 for detailed steps. Do not mix different types of ink.

6.2 Print Head Cleaning
If print quality declines (e.g., missing lines, faded colors), perform a print head cleaning. This can be done from the printer's control panel (Settings > Maintenance > Head Cleaning) or through the printer software on your computer.
6.3 Paper Path Cleaning
If paper jams occur frequently or printouts have smudges, clean the paper path rollers. Refer to the on-screen instructions on the printer's control panel for guidance.
6.4 Firmware Updates
Periodically check for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security. Updates can usually be initiated from the printer's control panel or through the Epson software.
