4.1 Powering On/Off

  1. Press the [FUNCTION] button until the area measurement icon (usually a square or rectangle) appears on the display.
  2. Measure the first side (e.g., length) by pointing the laser and pressing [MEAS].
  3. Measure the second side (e.g., width) by pointing the laser and pressing [MEAS] again.
  4. The device will automatically calculate and display the area.

  1. Press the [FUNCTION] button until the volume measurement icon (usually a cube) appears on the display.
  2. Measure the length by pointing the laser and pressing [MEAS].
  3. Measure the width by pointing the laser and pressing [MEAS].
  4. Measure the height by pointing the laser and pressing [MEAS].
  5. The device will automatically calculate and display the volume.

5.4 Continuous Measurement (Tracking)

This mode allows for dynamic measurement, displaying the distance in real-time as you move the device.

  1. Press and hold the [MEAS] button (or press it twice quickly, depending on the model) to enter continuous measurement mode.
  2. Move the device slowly towards or away from the target. The display will update with the current distance.
  3. Press [MEAS] or [CLEAR/OFF] to exit continuous measurement mode.
