Components and Controls
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker On/Off.
- Volume Up (+): Increases the speaker volume.
- Volume Down (-): Decreases the speaker volume.
- LED Light Control Button: Cycles through various light modes and strobe effects.
- True Wireless Pairing Button: Initiates pairing with another compatible HydraMotion speaker for stereo sound.
- Virtual Assistant Button: Activates your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).
- Charging Port: USB-C port for charging the speaker.
Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge your HydraMotion speaker. The charging time is approximately 12 hours for a full charge.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power Button until you hear an audible cue and the LED lights illuminate.
- To power off, press and hold the Power Button again until the speaker powers down.
Bluetooth Pairing
The HydraMotion speaker can connect wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled devices up to 100 feet away.
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (LED will blink).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Select 'Altec Lansing HydraMotion' from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the speaker will indicate successful pairing, and the LED will become solid.
True Wireless Pairing (TWS)
For an enhanced stereo experience, you can pair two HydraMotion speakers together.
- Ensure both HydraMotion speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker, press the True Wireless Pairing Button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, one speaker will act as the left channel and the other as the right.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described above.
Operating the Speaker
Audio Playback
Once paired, audio from your connected device will play through the HydraMotion speaker. Use your device's controls for play/pause, skip track, etc.
Volume Control
- Press the Volume Up (+) button to increase the speaker's volume.
- Press the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the speaker's volume.
LED Light Control
Press the LED Light Control Button to cycle through different light modes and strobe effects, adding a visual element to your music.
Using the Virtual Assistant
Press the Virtual Assistant Button to activate the voice assistant on your connected smartphone or tablet. You can then issue commands through the speaker's microphone.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Waterproof and Dustproof Care (IP67 Rated)
The HydraMotion speaker is IP67 rated, meaning it is waterproof, snowproof, and dustproof. While designed for outdoor use, ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing it to water or dust. Do not submerge the speaker for extended periods or at depths greater than 1 meter.

Troubleshooting
