4.1. Controls and Indicators

5. Setup
5.1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Falcon YM-200. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the device's mini USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED display may indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
5.2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the LED display illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the LED display turns off.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting the Time
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Press and hold the "Time Set" button (or similar button, refer to device markings if different) until the hour digits flash.
- Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the "Time Set" button again to move to the minute digits.
- Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press the "Time Set" button one more time to confirm and exit time setting mode.
6.2. Setting the Alarm
The Falcon YM-200 supports two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- Press and hold the "Alarm Set" button (or "Alarm 1" / "Alarm 2" button) until the alarm hour digits flash.
- Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the "Alarm Set" button again to move to the alarm minute digits.
- Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the "Alarm Set" button again to select the alarm source (e.g., buzzer, FM radio, or MP3). Use Previous/Next Track buttons to cycle through options.
- Press the "Alarm Set" button one more time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate/deactivate an alarm, short press the corresponding "Alarm 1" or "Alarm 2" button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
- When the alarm sounds, press the "Snooze" button to temporarily silence it for a few minutes. Press any other button to turn off the alarm for the day.
6.3. Bluetooth Mode
- Power on the device. Press the "Mode" button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Falcon YM-200" from the list of devices. Once paired, the device will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your connected device. Use the Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Volume buttons on the Falcon YM-200 or your connected device to control playback.
- The effective Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
6.4. FM Radio Mode
- Press the "Mode" button until "FM" appears on the display.
- Automatic Scan: Press and hold the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The device will scan and save all available stations.
- Manual Tuning: Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to navigate through saved stations or manually tune to a frequency.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume buttons.
6.5. MP3 Playback (USB / Micro SD / AUX)
- USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. The device will automatically switch to MP3 mode and begin playback. If not, press the "Mode" button until "MP3" appears.
- Micro SD Playback: Insert a Micro SD card containing MP3 files into the Micro SD card slot. The device will automatically switch to MP3 mode and begin playback. If not, press the "Mode" button until "MP3" appears.
- AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX input using the provided AUX cable. Press the "Mode" button until "AUX" appears on the display. Control playback from your external device.
- In MP3 mode, use the Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Volume buttons to control playback.
6.6. Hands-free Calling
When your smartphone is connected via Bluetooth:
- Answering a Call: When an incoming call rings, short press the Play/Pause button to answer.
- Ending a Call: During a call, short press the Play/Pause button to end the call.
- Rejecting a Call: When an incoming call rings, press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject the call.
- Speak clearly towards the integrated microphone on the device.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
