2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • Do not use this heater outdoors.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has internal overheat protection and tip-over protection. If the heater overheats or tips over, it will automatically shut off.
  • The heater is constructed with a durably sealed ERW casting and high-quality oil, ensuring no oil leakage.
  • Keep children and pets away from the heater during operation.

4. Setup and Assembly

The PELONIS PHOENIX 13M radiator is designed for easy assembly and mobility.

4.1 Attaching the Wheels

  1. Carefully invert the radiator, ensuring it is stable.
  2. Locate the wheel attachment points at the bottom of the radiator.
  3. Insert the wheel assemblies into the designated slots. Ensure they click securely into place.
  4. Return the radiator to an upright position. The hidden, silent-running casters allow for easy movement.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 3 feet or 90 cm) from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials.
  • Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
  • The heater is suitable for rooms up to 25 m².

5. Operating Instructions

The PELONIS PHOENIX 13M features intuitive dual knob controls for power and thermostat settings.

5.1 Powering On and Setting Heat Level

  1. Ensure the heater is plugged into a suitable 240V power outlet.
  2. Turn the inner regulator knob to select one of the three power settings:
    • Low (1000W)
    • Medium (1500W)
    • High (2500W)
  3. The indicator light will illuminate when the heater is operating.
