Setup

1. Battery Installation

The camera requires 12 AA alkaline batteries for operation. For optimal performance and extended battery life (up to 6 months), it is recommended to use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries.

  1. Open the camera housing by unlatching the side clips.
  2. Locate the removable battery tray inside the camera.
  3. Insert 12 AA batteries into the tray, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Slide the battery tray back into the camera until it clicks into place.

2. SD Card Installation

A Class 10 SD card (up to 32GB recommended) is required to store images and videos. The camera does not typically include an SD card.

  1. With the camera housing open, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the SD card into the slot with the label facing up until it clicks.
  3. To remove, press the card gently until it springs out.

3. Antenna Attachment

The antenna is crucial for cellular signal transmission.

  1. Locate the antenna port on the top of the camera.
  2. Screw the antenna clockwise onto the port until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

4. Mounting the Camera

  1. Thread the mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera.

3. Image and Video Capture

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

Replace all 12 AA batteries when the battery indicator shows low power or when performance degrades. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones of the same type.

2. SD Card Management

Regularly check the SD card status via the app. When the card is full, replace it or format it (which will erase all data). It is recommended to format the SD card periodically to maintain optimal performance.

3. Cleaning
