Location
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access. The built-in casters allow for easy movement, but the machine should be stationary and level during operation.

Water Connection
The washer requires connection to a water source using the provided inlet hose and quick-connect adapter. Only connect the inlet hose to the 'Cold' water inlet on the machine if using a single faucet connection. If you wish to use warm or hot water, adjust the temperature directly at your faucet.
- Attach the quick-connect adapter to your faucet. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks.
- Connect one end of the inlet hose to the quick-connect adapter on the faucet.
- Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the 'Cold' water inlet on the back of the washing machine. If a hot water inlet is present but not used, install the provided safety plug into the hot water inlet to prevent leakage.
- Slowly turn on the water supply at the faucet and check for any leaks at the connections.

Drain Hose Setup

Selecting a Wash Program
The machine offers 8 wash programs and 4 water levels:
- Wash Programs: Normal, Standard, Delicate, Quick, Spin, Light Soil, Heavy Soil, Tub Clean.
- Water Levels: Small, Medium, Large (corresponding to different load sizes).
Press the 'Program' button to cycle through the wash programs. Press the 'Load Size' button to select the desired water level.
Starting a Cycle
- Press the 'Power' button to turn on the machine.
- Load your laundry and add detergent.
- Select your desired 'Program' and 'Water Level'. You can also adjust 'Water Temp' if your faucet allows.
- Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle.
- To pause a cycle, press 'Start/Pause' again. Press it once more to resume.

Cleaning the Lint Filter
The machine has a built-in lint filter. It is recommended to clean the lint filter every 10 loads or so to maintain washing efficiency and prevent lint buildup on clothes.
- Locate the lint filter, typically inside the drum near the top rim.
- Remove the filter and clean any accumulated lint under running water.
- Reinstall the filter securely.
Cleaning the Washer Tub
To prevent odors and residue buildup, periodically clean the washer tub. The PAN638MH1 includes a 'Tub Clean' program (Program Code 08).
- Ensure the tub is empty.
- Select the 'Tub Clean' program.
