6. Pulse Repair Function
The pulse repair function is a key feature for maintaining battery health. It works by:
- Detecting battery sulfation (buildup of lead sulfate crystals on battery plates) and acid stratification (uneven acid concentration).
- Applying a series of high-frequency pulses to break down these crystals and redistribute the acid.
- Restoring lost battery performance, leading to stronger engine starts and extended battery cycle life.
NOTE: This function cannot activate or charge totally dead batteries.

This image emphasizes the role of the trickle charge and pulse repair functions in preventing battery failure and extending its lifespan.
7. Visualized Charging (LCD Display)
The large LCD display provides real-time information about the charging process:
- Charge Voltage: Displays the current voltage being supplied to the battery.
- Charge Current: Shows the amperage flowing into the battery.
- Internal Temperature: Indicates the charger's internal temperature, crucial for temperature compensation.
- Charge Percentage: Provides an estimate of the battery's charge level.
- Mode Indicator: Shows the currently selected charging mode (e.g., Car/Truck, Motorcycle, Pulse Repair).

This image illustrates the smart features of the charger, emphasizing its visible LCD screen for direct monitoring of battery charging status and process, along with simple connect, ready, and go steps.
8. Maintenance (Float/Trickle Charge)
To maintain your battery over extended periods, especially during off-seasons or storage, utilize the float/trickle charge mode:
- Fully charge the battery using the appropriate mode (STD/AGM, GEL/WET/MOTORCYCLE). The screen will display "FUL" when complete.
- Once fully charged, switch the charger to "MOTORCYCLE" mode. This will automatically engage the trickle charging mode.
- Leave the charger connected to the battery in this mode to keep it optimally charged for a long time, preventing self-discharge and extending overall battery life.
9. Applicable Battery Types & Vehicles
The NEXPEAK NC101 is compatible with all 12-volt lead-acid batteries, including:
- AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat)
- GEL (Gel Electrolyte)
- SLA (Sealed Lead-Acid)
- Flooded (Wet Cell)
It is suitable for a wide range of vehicles and equipment:
- Cars

10. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your NEXPEAK NC101 charger, consider the following:
- Charger Not Turning On: Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a live power outlet. Check for any loose connections at the battery terminals.
- No Charging Indication: Verify that the battery clamps are connected with correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative). The charger has reverse polarity protection, which will prevent it from operating if connected incorrectly.
- Battery Not Charging: The charger cannot activate or charge totally dead batteries. If your battery is completely discharged, it may require professional assessment or replacement.
- Slow Charging: Ensure the correct operating mode is selected for your battery type. Extreme temperatures can affect charging speed, but the charger's temperature compensation should mitigate this.
- Pulse Repair Not Working: The pulse repair function is designed for sulfated or stratified batteries, not for completely dead or severely damaged batteries.
For persistent issues, refer to the warranty and support section.
