3.3 Electrical Connection and Power Management

The hob requires a 220V AC electrical supply. It features Power Management technology, allowing adjustment of the total power consumption from 12A to 32A. This feature ensures compatibility with various electrical installations and enhances safety. The appliance comes with a pre-attached cable for connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Turning On/Off

  • To turn on: Touch the Power On/Off symbol. The display will show "0" for each zone.
  • To turn off: Touch the Power On/Off symbol again.

4.2 Selecting a Cooking Zone and Adjusting Power

  • Place an induction-compatible pan on the desired cooking zone.
  • Touch the corresponding zone selection button.
  • Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the power level from 1 to 9.
  • Each zone also features a booster function for rapid heating. Activate by pressing the Booster button (if available, typically indicated by a 'P' or similar symbol).

4.3 Timer Function

  • Select the desired cooking zone.
  • Touch the Timer button.
  • Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired cooking time.
  • The timer will count down and automatically switch off the selected zone when the time expires.

4.4 Child Safety Lock

To prevent accidental operation, especially by children, the hob is equipped with a child safety lock.

  • To activate: With the hob off or on, press and hold the Lock symbol for a few seconds until an indicator light appears.
  • To deactivate: Press and hold the Lock symbol again until the indicator light turns off.

4.5 Pan Detection

The induction hob automatically detects the presence of suitable cookware. If no pan is detected or an unsuitable pan is used, the zone will not heat, and an error indicator may appear.
