1. Setup Guide
1.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully unbox your imoo Watch Phone Z1. Ensure all included components are present:

Inspect the watch for any visible damage before proceeding.
1.2 SIM Card Installation
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 requires a standard Nano-SIM card for cellular connectivity. Ensure the SIM card is active and has data, call, and SMS services enabled. Compatible operators include Airtel in India.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the watch.
- Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the SIM tray.
- Carefully place the Nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring proper orientation.
- Gently push the SIM tray back into the watch until it clicks into place.

Important: Before inserting, ensure any PIN lock on the SIM card is disabled. This can typically be done by inserting the SIM into a smartphone and disabling the PIN request through its settings.
1.3 Initial Power On and App Pairing
After SIM installation, power on the watch by pressing and holding the power button until the screen illuminates. To manage the watch's features and communicate with your child, you need to download and pair the imoo APP on your smartphone.
- Download the "imoo" application from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
- Open the imoo APP and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and bind the watch. This usually involves scanning a QR code displayed on the watch screen.
- Once paired, you can configure contacts, safety zones, and other settings through the app.
2. Operating the Watch Phone
2.1 Communication Features (Calls & Chat)
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 supports two-way HD video and voice calls, as well as family chat functions.
- Voice Calls: Your child can make and receive voice calls from pre-approved contacts. Parents can manage these contacts via the imoo APP.
- Video Calls: The watch features a 2MP wide-angle camera for face-to-face video conversations. Video calls are initiated and received through the imoo APP on the parent's phone.
- Family Chat: Stay connected by sending voice messages, text messages, and emojis between the watch and family members' smartphones via the imoo APP.

2.2 Real-time Locating (GPS)
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 provides real-time location tracking using licensed Google Maps. Parents can monitor their child's location and movement status through the imoo APP.
- Accurate Positioning: The watch intelligently selects the most suitable positioning method (Satellite, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Acceleration Sensor) based on the current environment for optimal accuracy.
- Location History: Review your child's past locations and routes within the app.
- Safety Zones: Set up geofenced safety zones and receive notifications when your child enters or leaves these designated areas.

2.3 Class Mode and Stranger Rejection
These features are designed to minimize distractions and enhance safety for your child.
- Class Mode: Parents can set specific times (e.g., school hours) during which the watch's functions are limited to prevent distractions. Only emergency calls and time display will be active.
- Stranger Rejection: This feature blocks calls from unknown numbers, ensuring your child only receives calls from pre-approved contacts. Notifications for blocked calls are sent to the parent's app.

2.4 Additional Features

3. Maintenance
3.1 Charging the Watch
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 is equipped with a 740 mAh silicon anode battery, providing up to 168 hours (7 days) of average battery life. Use only the provided charging cable.
- Connect the magnetic end of the charging cable to the charging contacts on the back of the watch.
- Connect the USB end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The watch screen will indicate charging status.
3.2 Water Resistance (IPX8)
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 is IPX8 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand continuous immersion in water under specified conditions. This allows children to enjoy playing with water without worrying about damaging the watch.
- While IPX8 offers significant protection, avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or high-pressure water jets.
