4. Setup

Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

5. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

• To power on, press the ON/OFF button or extend the folding probe.
• To power off, press and hold the ON/OFF button, or fold the probe back into the unit. The thermometer will automatically shut off after 90 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Using the Folding Probe:

1. Carefully extend the stainless steel probe from the side of the unit.
