Important Note: This keyboard is primarily designed for Mac OS X 10.10 and above. While it may connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices, some function keys might not operate as intended.

4. Setup
4.1 Inserting Batteries
The keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.
4.2 Powering On and Pairing
- After inserting batteries, slide the power switch on the back of the keyboard from OFF to ON.
- Double-click the "CONNECT" button located next to the power switch. The Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will start blinking, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your Mac device, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Your Mac will search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Select "OMOTON Keyboard" from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid, or turn off.

5. Operating the Keyboard
5.1 Compatibility and Usage
The OMOTON Bluetooth Keyboard is designed for seamless integration with Mac devices, including MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac Pro, and Mac Mini. Its compact size makes it portable and suitable for various setups.

5.2 Comfortable Typing Experience

5.4 Automatic Sleep Mode
To conserve battery life, the OMOTON Bluetooth Keyboard will enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply press any key and wait for 2-3 seconds for it to reconnect to your device.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish. Do not immerse the keyboard in water or any other liquid.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the keyboard's performance degrades or it fails to connect, it may be time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 4.1 to replace the 2 AAA batteries.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Keyboard Not Connecting/Pairing
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on and the batteries are correctly inserted and charged.
- Make sure the keyboard is in pairing mode (Bluetooth indicator blinking). Double-click the "CONNECT" button if it's not.
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your Mac device.
- Move the keyboard closer to your Mac to ensure it's within the 10-meter operating range.
- Try removing the keyboard from your Mac's Bluetooth device list and re-pairing it.
- Restart your Mac and the keyboard.
7.2 Keys Not Responding
- Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
- Ensure the keyboard is properly connected to your Mac.
- If only certain keys are not responding, check for any debris or obstructions under the keycaps.
7.3 Keyboard Enters Sleep Mode Too Quickly
The keyboard is designed to enter sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to save power. This is normal behavior. Simply press any key to wake it up.
