Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Bose Companion 2 Series III speakers, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior surfaces of the speakers. Avoid using liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive solvents, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
  • Placement: Place the speakers on a stable surface to prevent accidental falls. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity, as extreme conditions can affect performance and lifespan.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the rear ports and vents on the speakers are not obstructed to allow for proper airflow and prevent overheating.
  • Cable Management: Keep cables neatly organized and avoid sharp bends or kinks, which can lead to damage over time.
