2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- Do not use this heater outdoors.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

4. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your Imetec Eco Rapid Electric Heater.

- Power/Mode Selector Knob: Used to turn the heater ON/OFF and select heating modes.

5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your heater for first use.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from walls, furniture, curtains, and other flammable materials. Do not place it directly under a power outlet.
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched OFF (Power/Mode Selector Knob set to '0'). Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
6. Operating Instructions
Your Imetec Eco Rapid Electric Heater offers multiple temperature settings and a thermostat for optimal comfort.
6.1 Powering On and Selecting Mode
- Turn the Power/Mode Selector Knob to one of the following settings:
- Setting 1 (Low Heat): Approximately 1200W for gentle heating.
- Setting 2 (High Heat): Approximately 2000W for rapid heating.
- Setting 3 (Fan Only): Circulates air without heat.
- Setting 4 (Turbo Ventilation): Provides rapid heat distribution.
- The Power Indicator Light will illuminate, indicating the heater is active.

6.2 Setting the Thermostat
- Once a heating mode is selected, turn the Thermostat Control Knob clockwise to the maximum setting.
- When the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control Knob counter-clockwise until you hear a "click" and the Power Indicator Light turns off.
- The heater will now automatically maintain this temperature, cycling ON and OFF as needed.

6.4 Shutting Down
To turn off the heater, rotate the Power/Mode Selector Knob to the '0' (OFF) position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.

7.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
