1. Safety Information
Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications in this user manual before operating the pump. Failure to follow all instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
General Safety Precautions:
- Always ensure the battery power is sufficient. Insufficient power can affect output voltage and cause reduced power and flow.
- Use the pump to transfer clean water only. The pump does not include filtering parts. Pumping water with impurities can damage the impeller and shorten the product's lifespan.
- If pumping water from a source with potential debris (e.g., a pool), install a filter to prevent blockages in the inlet pipe or pump interface. Impurities include, but are not limited to, sand, stones, water plants, fallen leaves, plastic pieces, and metal pieces.
- The pump is equipped with overheat and overload protectors to prevent burn-in and increase lifespan. If the pump shuts down due to overheating or overloading, allow it to cool and reset the protector as described in the Troubleshooting section.

3. Setup & Assembly
Battery Charging:
Ensure both 18V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries are fully charged before initial use. A single battery takes approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge. The charger plugs directly into the battery. A red light indicates charging, and a green light indicates a full charge.

Hose Connection:
- Remove the water seal from the water inlet and outlet on the pump.
- Attach the inlet and outlet hoses to the 1/2" NPT male to 3/4" NH brass connectors. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Place the inlet hose below the water surface, aiming as near as possible to the middle of the water source.
- Lay out the inlet and outlet hoses to ensure there are no blockages, kinks, or bends.

This image illustrates the six steps for setting up the pump: 1. Remove water seals. 2. Attach inlet and outlet hoses. 3. Place inlet hose in water source. 4. Ensure hoses are free of blockages. 5. Insert battery and turn on pump. 6. Turn off pump once air is expelled.
4. Operating Instructions
Starting the Pump:
- After connecting the hoses and inserting a charged battery into the battery compartment, press the Power ON/OFF button to start the pump.
- As soon as the pump begins to take in water and expel air from the outlet hose, turn off the pump briefly. This ensures proper priming.
- Restart the pump to begin continuous water transfer.
Using the LED Light:
The built-in LED light can be activated using the dedicated LED ON/OFF button. It features two adjustable brightness levels for varying lighting needs.

This image demonstrates the built-in LED lighting function of the Anbull pump, showing its utility in dark environments. The light has two adjustable levels (LED I/150 lm and LED II/250 lm).
Applications:
This pump is designed for various water transfer applications involving clean water, such as emptying water heaters, tanks, and other similar uses. It can transfer up to 430 gallons of water per hour (7.2 GPM).

This diagram illustrates the maximum head height of 60 feet and a maximum lift height of 6 feet for the Anbull AWP018 pump, with a maximum flow rate of 430 GPH.

5. Maintenance
Cleaning:
Regularly inspect the pump's inlet and impeller for any blockages or debris. The clear glass on the pump allows for visual inspection of the impeller. If debris is present, disassemble the front part of the pump to clean it. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for disassembly and reassembly procedures.
Battery Care:
Always ensure batteries are fully charged before storage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems with your Anbull Cordless Transfer Pump, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump shuts down (Overload/Overheat) | Dry pump operation, inlet line too low or too long, outlet line blocked, outlet line too high or too long, pump running overtime, fluid too hot. | Reset the heat protector. Adjust inlet/outlet lines. Clear blockages. Turn off pump, allow to rest, then reset current protector. Lower fluid temperature. |
| Insufficient power or flow | Blockages in pipe or machine interface, insufficient battery voltage or power, water pipe too long. | Confirm no blockages. Ensure battery power is sufficient. Shorten water pipe if excessively long (tested with 6FT inlet and 50FT outlet). |
| Debris in water source | No filter installed. | Install a filter to prevent debris from blocking the water inlet pipe or damaging the impeller. |
