Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

1. Filling the Cooker

2. Closing the Lid

3. Heating and Pressure Build-up

• Place the cooker on a gas stove. This model is recommended for use on gas stoves.
• Heat the cooker on high flame until steam starts to escape from the vent pipe.
• Once steam is steadily escaping, place the vent weight onto the vent pipe. Pressure will begin to build inside the cooker.

4. Opening the Cooker Safely

• After cooking, turn off the heat. Allow the pressure to release naturally until the steam stops escaping from the vent pipe and the pressure indicator drops.

• Once all pressure is released, carefully open the lid by rotating the handle. Never force the lid open if there is still pressure inside.
