3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking and Placement

3.2 Window Kit Installation
The included window kit facilitates the exhaust of hot air. The kit contains:
- Foam seal
- Slider bracket (adjustable for windows 20.5" to 50" wide)
- 5.9-inch diameter air exhaust hose
- Hose inlet and outlet connectors
- 2 locking screws
- Drain hose
- Adjust the slider bracket to fit your window opening.
- Secure the slider bracket in the window frame using the locking screws.
- Attach the hose inlet connector to the unit and the hose outlet connector to the slider bracket.
- Connect the air exhaust hose between the inlet and outlet connectors. Ensure a secure fit to prevent air leakage.
- Apply the foam seal around the window opening to minimize air infiltration.

3.3 Electrical Connection
- Plug the 3-prong grounded LCDI/Type B power cord (70.8 inches long) into a standard 115V~/60Hz electrical outlet.
- Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
4. Operating Instructions
The unit can be operated using the top-mounted control panel or the included remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
- Note: A micro-processor control delays the compressor from operating until 3 minutes have passed after startup or mode change.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

- Direct the other end of the drain hose into a suitable container or floor drain.
- Monitor the water level in the container and empty it as needed.
