1. Setup
Carefully unpack all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present before proceeding with setup. The Victrola Journey record player is designed for portability and ease of use.

Component Identification
Familiarize yourself with the key components of your record player:
- Turntable Platter: Where the vinyl record rests.
- Tone Arm: Holds the stylus (needle) and tracks the record grooves.
- Speed Selector: Switch to select 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM.
- Function Knob: Selects between Phono (record player), Bluetooth (BT), or Line In.

Power Connection
Connect the included power adapter to the DC 5V 1A input on the back of the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

2. Operating Instructions
Playing Vinyl Records
- Place a Record: Gently place your vinyl record on the turntable platter.
- Select Speed: Adjust the speed selector switch (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) to match your record's speed. For 45 RPM records, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
- Unlock Tone Arm: Release the tone arm clip to allow the tone arm to move freely.
- Raise Tone Arm: Push the lift lever upwards to raise the tone arm.
- Position Tone Arm: Gently move the tone arm over the desired starting point of the record.
- Lower Tone Arm: Push the lift lever downwards to slowly lower the tone arm onto the record. Playback will begin.
- Adjust Volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to adjust the sound level.
- Auto-Stop Feature: If the AUTO STOP switch is ON, the turntable will stop spinning automatically when the record finishes. If OFF, it will continue to spin.

Bluetooth Connectivity
Your Victrola Journey record player can function as a Bluetooth speaker:
- Select Bluetooth Mode: Turn the Function Knob to 'BT'. The indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Pair Your Device: On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for 'Victrola Journey' in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Play Music: Once paired, you can stream audio from your device through the record player's built-in speakers.

External Audio Connections
The record player offers versatile connectivity options:
- RCA Outputs: Connect external powered speakers to the RCA OUT jacks on the back of the unit for enhanced sound.
- 3.5mm Aux-In: Use the Line In jack to connect non-Bluetooth audio devices, such as a CD player or MP3 player.
- Headphone Jack: Plug in headphones for a private listening experience.

3. Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your record player:
- Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the record player away from direct sunlight, dust, and excessive moisture.
Stylus Care
The stylus (needle) is a delicate component. Handle it with care to ensure optimal sound quality and longevity:
- Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers.
- Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing from back to front.
- Replace the stylus if you notice a decrease in sound quality or visible damage.
4. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Victrola Journey record player, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the unit and a working wall outlet. Check if the Power/Volume knob is turned ON.
- No Sound: Verify that the Function Knob is set to the correct input (Phono, BT, or Line In). Adjust the Power/Volume knob. If using external speakers, ensure they are powered on and correctly connected to the RCA outputs.
- Skipping Record: Ensure the record is clean and free of dust. Check if the record player is on a stable, level surface.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Make sure the record player is in Bluetooth pairing mode (BT indicator flashing). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
