Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your cement mixer.

  1. Preparation:
    • Ensure the mixer is on a firm, level surface.
    • Verify all safety guards are in place and secure.
    • Connect the mixer to a grounded power outlet using an appropriate extension cord.
  2. Loading Materials:
    • Start the mixer before adding materials. Do not start with materials already in the drum to prevent motor strain.
    • Gradually add dry mix (cement, sand, aggregate) into the rotating drum.
    • Slowly add water or other liquids as required for your mix, allowing the materials to blend thoroughly.
    • Do not exceed the maximum mixing capacity of 2.3 cubic feet.
  3. Mixing:
    • Allow the mixer to run until the desired consistency is achieved.
    • Monitor the mix to ensure it is uniform and free of lumps.
  4. Discharging:
    • With the mixer still running, tilt the drum using the handle to discharge the mixed material into a wheelbarrow or container.
    • Ensure the receiving container is stable and positioned correctly.
  5. Shut Down:
    • After discharging, turn off the mixer using the power switch.
    • Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
