1. Introduction and Overview

The Shop-Vac 2.5 Gallon 2.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum is a versatile and compact cleaning solution designed for various tasks around your home, garage, and vehicle. 3. Features

• Large Cleaning Range: Provides over 10 feet of cleaning reach with its 4 ft. x 1-1/4 in. diameter hose system and 6 ft. power cord. This reduces the need to frequently move the vacuum, simplifying your cleaning tasks.

4. Setup

Before operating your Shop-Vac, ensure all components are properly assembled.

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all contents from the packaging. Verify that all listed accessories in Section 2 are present.
2. Filter Installation:
   • For dry vacuuming, install the Standard Cartridge Filter and a Filter Bag. Ensure the filter is securely seated over the filter cage.
   • For wet vacuuming, remove the cartridge filter and filter bag. Install the Foam Sleeve over the filter cage.
3. Hose Connection: Insert the hose collar into the vacuum port on the front of the tank until it clicks securely into place.
4. Accessory Attachment: Attach the desired nozzle (Gulper Nozzle or Crevice Tool) to the end of the hose for your specific cleaning task.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Shop-Vac is designed for easy operation. Always ensure the correct filter setup for wet or dry use before starting.

5.1 Dry Vacuuming

• Ensure the cartridge filter and filter bag are installed.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the ON/OFF switch located on the top of the unit to the 'ON' position.
• Use the appropriate accessory to vacuum dry debris.

5.2 Wet Vacuuming

• Remove the cartridge filter and filter bag. Install the foam sleeve.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
• Use the Gulper Nozzle to pick up liquids. Do not overfill the tank. The float mechanism will shut off suction when the tank is full.

5.3 Blowing Function

• Disconnect the hose from the vacuum port.
• Insert the hose collar into the blower port, located on the back of the motor head, until it clicks securely.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
• Use the air stream to blow away debris from surfaces.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Shop-Vac.

6.1 Emptying the Tank

• Always unplug the vacuum before emptying.
• Release the latches on the sides of the tank and lift off the motor head.
• Carefully empty the contents of the tank. For wet messes, dispose of liquids properly. For dry debris, empty the filter bag if used.
• Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly.

6.2 Filter Care

• Cartridge Filter: For dry use, tap off excess dust or rinse with water. Allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged or suction decreases significantly.
• Foam Sleeve: For wet use, rinse with water and mild soap. Squeeze out excess water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation.
• Filter Bag: Replace the filter bag when it is full or when suction power is reduced. Do not reuse disposable filter bags.

6.3 Cord Storage

Wrap the power cord neatly around the designated cord wraps on the motor head for organized storage.
