4.1 Door Compatibility

4.2 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has the standard bore holes (2-1/8" / 54mm) and backset (2-3/8" or 2-3/4"). The latch is adjustable.
2. Install Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge. Ensure the latch plate is flush with the door edge and secure with screws.
3. Install Exterior Knob: Feed the power cable through the latch and guide the spindle through until the exterior knob sits flush against the door.
4. Install Interior Knob: Connect the power cable from the exterior knob to the interior knob. Guide the spindle into the handle. Secure the interior knob to the exterior knob using the provided mounting screws.
5. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the interior knob. Insert 4 x AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
6. Test Functionality: After installation, test the lock with the default master code (usually 0123#) and the physical key to ensure smooth operation.

5.1 Unlocking Methods

• Passcode Entry: Enter your programmed passcode followed by the '#' key. The lock will disengage, allowing you to turn the knob and open the door.
• Physical Key: In case of battery depletion or forgotten passcode, use the provided physical key to unlock the door. The keyhole is discreetly located.
• USB Emergency Power: If batteries are completely dead, connect a USB power bank to the emergency USB port on the exterior knob to temporarily power the lock and enter your passcode.

5.2 Silent Mode

To enable or disable silent mode (which mutes keypad tones), long press the '*' key for 5 seconds. The prompt tone will turn off. To turn it back on, long press the '*' key for another 5 seconds.

5.3 Passage Mode

Passage mode allows the door to remain unlocked for continuous access without requiring a passcode for each entry. To activate, enter your master password, wait for the beep, then quickly press '*' followed by '#'. Repeat the process to disable passage mode.

5.4 Anti-Peeping Function

To prevent others from guessing your passcode, you can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode. As long as the correct passcode sequence is embedded within the entered digits, the lock will open.
